To be completely honest, the year of 2013 upon reflection was not as eventful nor as full on as I had expected it to be. Although I admit, I was not disappointed by a moment of what it had to offer.
However, it was a tooth grinding and indeed many will argue, stressful. The events of this year have however, made me grow stronger as a person, learn more about myself and to an extent tested me.
It hasn't been as intense, school was probably not the epitome of "done well", although none the less I was pleased as I did receive my scholarship to UTS, so all ended well.
The amount of co-curricular activities I embarked on seemed to be quite a big plateful, but didn't feel like it took it's toll on my marks as much as I expected. Nor did I feel like I had trouble balancing them.
I don't feel like it's been too eventful in terms of social events, there wasn't an abundance of parties attended, drunken rages of dancing and singing with randoms that you've never met and won't remember. There weren't thousands of new friends made or friends that are lost. However there will be a shout out to formal. The last formal that we will ever be having and it was pretty great.
It's been a year to remember, a year full of surprises that I won't forget. Meeting my boyfriend, as sappy and disgusting we may be with our PDA we are YOLO, so deal with it!
A year where I got my first two retail jobs, General Pants and Cotton On, where I had to deal with crappy managers at Cotton On who are incredibly ignorant.
Ceebs writing more, but I hope that 2014 has more to offer than what 2013 has. I hope that my first full time job gives me experience beyond my imagination, I hope that I enjoy university to the fullest and I hope that my bub has an amazing time living his last year of high school.
Goodluck to everyone and I hope that you guys strive for become reality, reach for the stars!
